It’s been announced by highway concessionaires in Malaysia that they will increase their toll rates. Here’s the new toll rate for Maju Expressway (MEX) beginning October 15, 2015.
Toll rates for the Maju Expressway (MEX) will be revised and increased from October 15.
Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd the company managing the expressway announced the hike today.
From October 15 onwards, the revised prices or rates are shown below:
For vehicles exiting the Putrajaya Toll from Salak Selatan toll plaza the new price is RM3.50 for Class 1 (an increase of RM1), RM7 for Class 2 (up by RM2), RM10.50 for Class 3 (an increase of RM3), RM1.80 for Class 4 (up by 50 sen) and RM2.50 for Class 5 (a hike of RM1.20).
That means for Cyberjaya folks who are driving Class 1 vehicles all the way to Jalan Tun Razak, the new rate will be RM5.50 instead of RM4.00 on the current rate.
If you’re entering the expressway after the Salak Selatan toll, you’ll have to pay RM3.50 for the journey.
