Craving for some Japanese food? Cyberjaya has plenty of Japanese food outlets and restaurants. View the list here.
Japanese food is always popular and I’m actually quite surprised with the number of Japanese restaurants available in Cyberjaya. This is just a quick overview and review of the restaurants here.
1. Kiraku
This huge Japanese restaurant is located on the p3 floor of Shaftsbury Square. There are plenty of choices although the prices are on the high side, that’s probably because they have a Japanese chef? My personal favourite is the noodle salad.
Address: P3 Floor, Shaftsbury Square
Price: $$$$
Tel: 03-8318-6003
2. Yoshinoya and Sanuki Udon Hanamaru
This is one of Japan’s most famous beef rice outlets and it was just opened a few months ago at D’Pulze Shopping Centre. It’s a great place if you just want to have a quick but tasty meal. If you want to have noodles, the other side of the restaurant is the Sanuki Udon Hanamaru. I’ve written a short article about this outlet here.
Address: Floor 2, D’Pulze Shopping Centre
Price: $$
Tel: call D’Pulze – 03-8800 9803
3. Sushi Zanmai
One of Malaysia’s most famous Sushi place has been operating in Cyberjaya for almost one year now. I’ve been here at least twice and it’s always 60-80% full. Prices are acceptable but the service wasn’t very friendly. Maybe it’s just me.
Address: Lower Ground Floor, D’Pulze Shopping Centre, next to ACE Hardware
Price: $$$
Tel: call D’Pulze – 03-8800-9803
4. Shin Tokyo Sushi and Ramen Ten
If you’re near MMU consider going to the newly opened Gem in Mall. This tiny shopping centre (really, it’s really tiny) has a few food outlets and surprisingly this medium-sized Sushi place. If you’ve tried this place, do share your experience below.
Address: Ground Floor, Gem In Mall
Price: $$
Tel: n/a
5. Tokyo Lunch
This restaurant is located at a busy area of Cyberjaya with very limited parking spaces during lunch hours – Glomac. I don’t have the opportunity to visit this place yet but based on this Japanese blog, it’s affordable. I think I’m going to try this soon.
Address: No. 2 Block E Jalan GC4, Glomac Cyberjaya
Price: $$
Tel: 03-8322-6284
6. Tokio Cafe
Located in the food hub of Cyberjaya, Tokio Cafe has been around for quite some time now. As the reviews I read online were not impressive, I don’t think I’d like to try to go here. People also said that it’s a bit pricey.
Address: Prima Avenue, Jalan Teknokrat 5
Price: $$$
Tel: 03-8319-1313
As Cyberjaya is growing rapidly, I’m sure there will be more Japanese restaurants opening here in the near future. In the meantime, if you have any comment or feedback on the restaurants above, please leave your comments below.
